There is a solution on how to install a flash player in your Mozilla Firefox browser
No related posts.

Seemingly unrelated topcis can be put in the same basket. Going green and new technologies, especially software, which is in a sense, green, can be greener or more pollutant. How?

Well, anyone who is a bit programming freak, as am I, can tell you that there are good and bad algorithms. Good algorithms save our time, use less space, less memory and less power. Mozilla Firefox was a good peace of software. But with the new releases, it went south.

It takes for ages to load, it consumes a lot of power and resources, and with the introduction of windows 7 (security) and “new tab” features, Internet Explorer, went from being bad to being better than the Firefox.

But for some, God knows why, reason. I installed Firefox, too. And, unlike for Mozilla, and like all the Microsoft software, its buggy. Thousands of people on the web are begging for help. Neither IE8 or the new FF come along with flash player. And, in this day in age, even the simplest of sites, have some kind of flash installed. But, for IE8 there is no problem, you just have to go to the Adobe’s page and install it. It’s simple as that.

It’s simple for the people who use IE8, that is! Because if You use FF, you do not have simple installation on your hand. The “How To” guide on the Adobes page doesn’t resemble to the actual problem You might have.

But, no fear, the answer is here.

The thing that is making all the headache is called “Allowed sites”.

You can find it if you click Tools – Options – Security – Exceptions and then you add adobe.com to your “Allowed sites” list.

After that, you again visit the Adobes site and you actually follow the instructions. Enjoy!

President Barack Obama tacked to the right with appeals for tax cuts for small business and new investments in off-shore oil drilling and nuclear power. Also, he tacked to the left with renewed vows to let gays serve in the military and to get U.S. troops out of Iraq and to shift them to Afganistan!

He sounded at times like a Bill Clinton-style centrist, at others like a bank-bashing populist. He taunted Republicans, and also presented himself as a lonely tribune of cooperation and bipartisan civility in Washington.

Obama came into office promising to shatter expectations of what was possible in Washington. The talk then was of a presidential “big bang” — health care, global warming, and financial reform legislation all in one year — and chief of staff Rahm Emanuel boasted that his motto was to “never let a serious crisis go to waste.”

Health care, the consuming issue of the year 2009 and the only one on which Obama aides insisted they should be judged, did not show up until more than halfway through.

Even then, it was on a notably defensive note. He confirmed that domestic proposal went south, adding that, “I take my share of the blame for not explaining it more clearly to the American people.” Despite a year of presidential speeches and legislative maneuvering, he said, many people are asking themselves, “What’s in it for me?”

With health care costs skyrocketing, many public and private insurers have required patients to pay more out-of-pocket when they seek care. The new study confirms what many policymakers had feared: cost-shifting moves can backfire.

“Patients may defer needed care and may wind up with a serious health event that might put them in the hospital. That’s not good for the patients, not good for society, not good for anybody,” said Dr. Tim Carey, who heads the University of North Carolina’s Sheps Center for Health Services Research.

For every 100 people enrolled in plans that raised copays, there were 20 fewer doctor visits, 2 additional hospital admissions and 13 more days spent in the hospital in the year after the increase compared to those in plans whose copays did not change, researchers found.

Some folks are againts Obama’s Health Care Bill, but in fact some european countries have that kind of a system, and people there are paying less money. Because, you pay your country for your health, and if everybody are paying, then the cost for your health plan is cheaper. It’s all in the economics. More consumers, cheapers the product. So, I have to ask myself, why would anyone be against paying less?

Well, we’ve all seen The Big Quake in Haiti, and what it did there. Tetonic plates are shifting, so we have to ask ourselves, did we do it, or is it just the course of nature. While there are tsunamies in southern Asia, and hurricanes in Mexico Bay, and great quakes on Haiti, Europe is having a crisis on its own. Floods, blocked airports due to the heavy snow, and countless lives taken, make Australia’s high temperatures like an gentle breeze. But, to confirm that the man’s greatest enemy is himself, there are numerous pharmaceutical companies that are spreading general panic. Mad cow disease, bird flue, swine flue, what’s next? Tree flue? Allergy to air? I mean, where does it all go to?

Maybe it’s just us. For instance, I can’t go to the supermarket, that is half a block away, without a car. And multiply that with a number of days in a year, and you get a decent amount od carbon dioxide. And to add that regular exercise prolongs your lifespan, we have to stop and ask ourselves. Why do we do that?

I leave you with that question, and to conclude this article I want to put one video where polish health minister has shown concern for the Polish population regarding the untested dangerous H1N1 vaccination and as a result she is accused of being anti New World Order and anti fascist.

Note: We DO encurage you NOT to take this vaccine, because it hasn’t been tested and approved, and you have to sign that you hold NO ONE RESPONSIBLE IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU! So, how come you can get a regular vaccine without a signed paper, and for this tested and approven vaccine, you have to sign the paper?

The butterfly effect is a term used in Chaos Theory to describe how tiny variations can affect giant systems, and complex systems, like weather patterns. The term butterfly effect was applied in Chaos Theory to suggest that the wing movements of a butterfly might have significant repercussions on wind strength and movements throughout the weather systems of the world, and theoretically, could cause tornadoes halfway around the world.

What the butterfly effect seems to posit, is that the prediction of the behavior of any large system is virtually impossible unless one could account for all tiny factors, which might have a minute effect on the system. Thus large systems like weather remain impossible to predict because there are too many unknown variables to count.

The term “butterfly effect” is attributed to Edward Norton Lorenz, a mathematician and meteorologist, who was one of the first proponents of Chaos Theory. Though he had been working on the theory for some ten years, with the principal question as to whether a seagulls’ wing movements changes the weather, he changed to the more poetic butterfly in 1973.

A speech he delivered was titled, “Does the Flap of a Butterfly’s Wings in Brazil Set off a Tornado in Texas.” Actually, fellow scientist, Philip Merilees created the title. Lorenz had failed to provide a title for his speech.

The concept of small variations producing the butterfly effect actually predates science and finds its home in science fiction. Writers like Ray Bradbury were particularly interested in the types of problems that might occur if one traveled back in time, trailing anachronisms. Could small actions taken in the past dramatically affect the future?

Fictional treatments of the butterfly effect as applies to time travel are numerous. Many cite the 2005 Butterfly Effect film as a good example of the possible negative changes that small behaviors in the past could have on the future, if one could time travel. Actually, a better and more critically accepted treatment of this concept is the 2000 film Frequency. In the film a father and son communicate over time through radio waves and attempt to change the past for the good.

In human behavior, one can certainly see how small changes could render behavior, or another complex system, extremely unpredictable. Small actions or experiences stored in the unconscious mind, could certainly affect a person’s behavior in unexpected ways.

One looks at teen suicide for example, where no instance of previous depression has occurred. Loved ones are often left wondering what the many small factors were that precipitated a suicide. Further, people often agonize about the small details they did not see as possible factors for an unexpected suicide.

However, there are plenty of ways that such a behavior would be unanswerable according to the butterfly effect. Minute actions and experiences dating from childhood stored in the unconscious mind are not accessible when a person has died, and they may be hard to access without hypnosis or therapy when a person is living.

Whether used in science, fiction, or social sciences, the butterfly effect remains theory. However, it does seem a reasonable explanation for the unpredictability of events. As it relates to human behavior, it does suggest that even the smallest actions may have huge consequences for good or ill.
