First Cat Cafe Opens In Europe
First cafe in Europe that has its own cats opened its door in Vienna. Ms Ishimitsu negotiated for three years before she got the license to open cat-friendly cafe.
Cafe Neko got its name from a japan word Neko that means cat. This kind of cafe is common in Japan.
Sonja, Thomas, Moritz, Luca and Momo will keep you company while Takako Ishimitsu, the cafe’s owner, gets your order. Each of the five feline residents was rescued from a local animal shelter.
Even the first step into Cafe Neko screams with a sign “No Dogs Allowed”.
It is believed that such environments, like cafe Neko, lower stress in people. But the question is, do they enhance it in cats?
